This is a slightly overdue but necessary introduction. Through this first post, we would like to share what LivableHub is, where it came from, how it has evolved, and what we hope to build in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The earliest idea behind LivableHub came from my experience studying and working in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u6211\u66fe\u7ecf\u662f\u4ea4\u901a\u5de5\u7a0b\u5e08\uff0c\u4e5f\u7cfb\u7edf\u5b66\u4e60\u8fc7\u4ea4\u901a\u5de5\u7a0b\u3001\u4ea4\u901a\u89c4\u5212\u548c\u57ce\u5e02\u4ea4\u901a\u76f8\u5173\u7684\u5185\u5bb9\u3002\u5728\u7f8e\u56fd\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u90a3\u51e0\u5e74\uff0c\u6211\u5bf9\u6162\u884c\u4ea4\u901a\u3001\u7eff\u8272\u51fa\u884c\u3001Complete Streets\u3001Vision Zero \u8fd9\u4e9b\u7406\u5ff5\u4ea7\u751f\u4e86\u5f88\u6df1\u7684\u5174\u8da3\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was once a transportation engineer, with academic and professional training in transportation engineering, transportation planning, and urban mobility. During my years in the U.S., I developed a strong interest in active transportation, green mobility, Complete Streets, Vision Zero, and the broader idea of building cities around people rather than just vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u90a3\u65f6\u5019\u6211\u5173\u6ce8\u8fc7\u5f88\u591a\u7f8e\u56fd\u672c\u5730\u7684\u4ea4\u901a NGO \u548c\u4e13\u4e1a\u7ec4\u7ec7\uff0c\u6bd4\u5982 Boston Cyclists Union\u3001APBP\u3001LivableStreets Alliance \u7b49\u7b49\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u7ec4\u7ec7\u8ba9\u6211\u770b\u5230\uff0c\u4ea4\u901a\u5e76\u4e0d\u53ea\u662f\u9053\u8def\u3001\u4fe1\u53f7\u706f\u3001\u8f66\u6d41\u91cf\u548c\u5de5\u7a0b\u56fe\u7eb8\uff0c\u5b83\u4e5f\u548c\u57ce\u5e02\u751f\u6d3b\u3001\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u3001\u5b89\u5168\u611f\u3001\u793e\u533a\u5173\u7cfb\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u6bcf\u4e2a\u4eba\u6bcf\u5929\u7684\u51fa\u884c\u4f53\u9a8c\u6709\u5173\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At that time, I followed many local transportation NGOs and professional organizations, such as Boston Cyclists Union, APBP, and LivableStreets Alliance. They helped me see transportation in a much broader way. It is not only about roads, signals, traffic volumes, and engineering drawings. It is also about urban life, public space, safety, communities, and the everyday experience of moving through a city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLivable\u201d \u4ee3\u8868\u66f4\u5b9c\u5c45\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u3001\u66f4\u53cb\u597d\u7684\u51fa\u884c\u65b9\u5f0f\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u66f4\u597d\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u73af\u5883\uff1b
\u201cHub\u201d \u5219\u4ee3\u8868\u4e00\u4e2a\u8fde\u63a5\u70b9\uff0c\u4e00\u4e2a\u53ef\u4ee5\u628a\u4e0d\u540c\u60f3\u6cd5\u3001\u4e0d\u540c\u9886\u57df\u3001\u4e0d\u540c\u4eba\u7fa4\u805a\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is why I later registered the name LivableHub.
\u201cLivable\u201d represents better cities, more human-centered mobility, and a more comfortable living environment.
\u201cHub\u201d represents a place of connection, where different ideas, disciplines, and people can come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u6700\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u6211\u4ee5\u4e3a LivableHub \u4f1a\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u6bd4\u8f83\u5782\u76f4\u7684\u4ea4\u901a\u54c1\u724c\u3002\u5b83\u4f1a\u8ba8\u8bba\u6162\u884c\u4ea4\u901a\u3001\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u3001\u4ea4\u901a\u5de5\u7a0b\u3001\u667a\u6167\u4ea4\u901a\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4ea4\u901a\u884c\u4e1a\u91cc\u7684\u771f\u5b9e\u5de5\u4f5c\u5185\u5bb9\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the beginning, I thought LivableHub would be a relatively focused mobility brand. It would talk about active transportation, urban planning, traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems, and the real work behind the transportation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These questions made me realize that many young professionals do not lack effort. What they often lack is access to real industry information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI was no longer just a topic discussed by a small group of technical people. It started to enter writing, programming, design, product management, operations, research, learning, and almost everyone\u2019s daily workflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is more like an integrated space: starting from mobility and cities, then extending into automotive topics, product thinking, AI, career growth, lifestyle, and aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
